I am now reading Christy by Catherine Marshall. It is a very interesting book!!! My Papaw (Grandfather) lives in East Tennessee in Seymour,in the county below Del Rio, where all this took place.
Catherine Marshall wrote about her Mother's life. Christy is Catherine Marshall's mother.
I am on chapter 9 of 46. I've never read a book that long! It has 474 pages.

I remember reading that book and enjoying it. Have you ever seen the old movie "A Man Called Peter" which tells the story of Catherine and Peter Marshall? It is very inspiring.
I have not read the book but I did enjoy the tv series so much. I wish you and your entire family a very happy Thanksgiving!
